Already proven locally , our project will bring together thousands of volunteers who already maintain, create and protect trails in their communities.

Dig !t is the first ever large-scale project to study, understand and measure the volunteer movement of trail builders. With Dig !t, we “Make visible the invisible workforce of the volunteer movement that is already taking action wherever trails exist”. Our integrated solutions optimize, enhance and quantify these voluntary actions, to put forward the vital importance of the volunteers who are the backbone of so many trail networks. Right now, at the time I write thes lines, thousands of volunteers are hard at work creating and maintaining exceptional trails. Yet we don’t know the “who-does-what-where-how-with-whom-for-how-long…” of it. Dig !t finally provides a solution for us to get these answers.
